The date for the Apple’s latest event is announced and the rumor mill is abuzz with all sorts of talks about the number of announcements that the tech giant will make. New iPhones, Apple TV are the two things everyone is keeping their eyes on. Apple TV was expected to be announced at WWDC in June itself but it wasn’t.  So now the fans are keeping their fingers crossed so as to see the compact faced Apple TV in the upcoming event on 9th September, 2015.

Rumours are that more than the actual TV the Apple TV remote will be a thing to watch out for in this new edition. Some very reliable sources suggest that the remote is to be upgraded with motion sensors so that whenever you are around the remote you can give the command to be implemented in TV just by waving your hand or any handful of gestures.

The new Apple TV is supposed to come up with a new A8 chip where it will have opportunities to show its true potential while being away from the iPhone. This kind of heavy up gradation in hardware points in the direction that the new Apple TV will focus on gaming.

The version 2.0 of Apple TV is being portrayed as a device which can handle everything from the smart home control to live television broadcasts. With an affordable service of live broadcasts, Apple can give the broadcasting companies a run for their money. It might take some time before a deal is struck between the two and services are finalized. But such services can always be started any time after the device is in the market. Keeping all this in mind, we can hope to see Apple TV 2.0’s glimpse on Apple’s event.

With Apple targeting the TV market to control various devices with user friendly interface, the iOS app development market is surely going to take a huge turn in a new direction.
