Starting with the C5 Ultra, successor to the 5.5 inch Xperia C4. It has 6 inch screen size. Now as the C4 was known for being pro-selfie because of the 28-mm wide-angle camera and a front facing flash, we are expecting its successor to be the same with a high resolution 13 megapixel front facing camera with a flash. With this it will surely give Moto X Style a run for its money, which sports a front facing flash as well. This will be a must have for selfie fans with this kind of camera specs. What will pull the crowd even more is the super thin bezel as seen clearly in the photo which is rumoured to be 0.8 mm thick. Apart from this C5 Ultra has 8-core MediaTek processor, 16GB storage in-built, 2GB RAM, external storage support upto 128GB and dual SIM card support. A 2930 mAH battery accompanied with Sony’s STAMINA power management mode promises that the phone will last for 2 days with a single charge.

Xperia M5

Next is the Xperia M5 which looks almost like Xperia Z3+. The Xperia M5 has a 5-inch display unlike the Z3+ and has a frame of 7.6mm thickness. It will have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Then comes the camera where the Xperia phones promise to make a difference than the rest of the phones. The rear camera in M5 is 21.5 megapixel sensor and a F 2.2 aperture bringing down the time of a picture taken to two tenths of a second. The front camera is upgraded to 13 megapixel with some rumours that it will have auto-focus feature. Moreover on specs front it will have 8-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with microSD expandability upto 128GB. And finally it has a battery of 2600 mAh.

With both these selfie centric phones headed to the consumers, android app developers will have to come up with new ideas targeting such phones. It’s not long before these phones are released and their prices are revealed. So, stay tuned for the updates as to what Sony has in store for us.
