We all know when we want to buy a used car, only and impromptu question we have is - do we know anybody to buy the car from? UpMyAuto is the answer, the idea of making a social as well as private buying only. This makes it the right spot in the market for private buying and selling of the cars. The beauty of it is the dedicated platform thought for such private buying and selling from wherever users can access, the mobility set as a key. Hearing this, TRooTech partnered with UpMyAuto in the start of 2016 to implement this promising idea into a well-structured omnichannel solution including an Android app, an iOS app and a full-fledged responsive website, all synced up to moments. Since then TRooTech has been dedicated resources hired as it’s believed by both parties that, compatibility is defined when TRooTech and UpMyAuto work collaboratively.

the Challenge


Though having such a great idea, the revenue was not possible by having commissions on sale as the app doesn’t invade the dealers’ space here, that was the main idea opposed. Also we had not seen such big transactions equal to car values happening through any marketplace ever so that option was dead however without a revenue plan on the app, it’s just an open ground and the owners needed some revenue definitely.


They didn’t wanted to sound as urging for money however some plan laid out, the idea of featuring the car listings and prioritized results than others is what solved the challenge. Catching the envy nerve of car owners, a small fees for listing the cars as featured ones on the app just worked perfectly complimenting the app concept.
